“Building” Good Relationships
Anthony Osekosky of Turner Construction Company recently presented Arthur Makar, Executive Director of The Caring Community with checks totaling over $5,000 collected from sub-contracting companies working on the a building adjacent to the 20 Washington Square North senior center. Mr. Osekosky, Project Superintendent, solicited and received funds from Combined Resources Interiors, Inc., Commodore Construction Corp., Island Fire Sprinkler, Inc., Kraman Iron Works, Platinum Maintenance, Sound Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Inc., Striano Electric, and Tri-State Dismantling – who have worked for the past year on an adjacent building. Participating donors recognized the inconvenience caused to seniors as a result of their construction and the good work done by The Caring Community.
These funds will be used for educational and social programs offered at 20 Washington Square North. Mr. Osekosky is pictured with Arthur Makar, Executive Director, TCC and with Kathleen Smyth, Project Manager.
