A Few of Our Friends...

The Caring Community receives funding from a variety of public and private donors to make its work possible, including:

Anonymous, Clearview Festival, Department for the Aging (DFTA), Federation of Protestant Welfare Associations (FPWA), Kealy Family Foundation, NYU Community Fund, Isaac H. Tuttle Fund

The Caring Community has been able to call on Congressman Jerrold Nadler, Borough President Scott Stringer, State Senator Tom Duane, Assemblywoman Deborah Glick, and Council President Christine Quinn and City Councillor Alan Gerson whenever there is a particular problem that needs to be addressed by a government official.

The organization’s work is also supported through an annual Dinner Dance and Silent Auction and through individual gifts from hundreds of donors each year. This year’s Gala will be held on October 27th.

Planned gifts, e.g. bequests, also provide funds to The Caring Community. For more information about including us in your will, or to discuss other planned giving options, please contact Arthur Makar.
